Today I continued the plan the I postponed yesterday and made a single cup of coffee with almost 5 tablespoons (4.7 to be exact) of coffee grounds. It was a stiff brew, but not necessarily in a bad way. The time to drip was 4:16” and the time to completion was 4:46”.

This is by far the latest I’ve every written a coffee log entry. Hopefully the latest I’ll ever go. When I woke up, I really wasn’t feeling like rigorous experimenting, so I poured in grounds until I had about 3/4 centimeters clearance from the top of the filter.

Welcome to the weekend edition of Coffee Log™. It’s day 5 of the rigorous grounds investigation, and today we’ve hit a new high in volume: 4.3 Tbsp, measured as 4 Tbsp, 1 tspn. I was caught off guard by the sub-4’ time to drip, so didn’t get an exact measure, though the top chamber was full by 4:10”.

Good morning. Before writing this review I did my morning HackerRank problem. I’m currently working my way through 30 days of code and on today’s problem I learned that you can include a derived class’ parent’s constructor in an initialization list to delegate the initialization of shared properties. Didn’t know that before!
